Countdown

I leave for Stellenbosch in 33 days! Welcome to the new blog. I won't have the same type of internet access when I'm in South Africa that I had in Paris, so updates will probably be less frequent, but who knows? When I was in Paris I had a tendency to post several updates all at once, and I will probably do something similar when this guy is up and running. If you somehow missed out on the greatness that was my Paris study abroad blog, you should probably check it out. It kind of fizzled off and died, along with my computer (which is currently out of commission still, for those who care), but it was fun while it lasted.

I have to bring gifts to my host family that are representative of Michigan/Detroit/the US/whatever. Any suggestions?
